Too many photos were crashing the blog!

Just outside le Cite is the Cimetiere with mausoleums and memorials. Among those buried there is Jean-Paul-Satre and Louis Mason - rugby player from the 1950s and who lead a "historic victory over the Australians"!

I drove into Carcassonne city and navigated my way into an underground parking building - it was a super narrow entrance and the exit even more challenging!

Lovely streets to wander. And lovely lamp.

Then home to have guinea fowl for dinner - Jenny's choice, Paul's cooking. It was great! And special to have. With a few servings of different wines - some unusual and I've forgotten the details. One was a wine from Portugal made in clay vessels and unique to an area there. A great day!!!
