I'm blogging because it is much easier to send photos and videos that will send and open! Not easier to learn another site and set up!!

The first 2 days were a bit of a jet-lagged whirlwind. Local market to stock up for the week ( always a cultural experience in itself) and memory lane at Gallery Lafayette for the ex-opera building and views mostly. And the best foodie market I have ever been to - just a wee slice of it in the photos. If you go to Paris - GO!

Then 3 passages - considered the first shopping malls of Paris in the late 1800/early 1900s.

The next day I was sore and stiff and went to a lovely osteopath in Couronnes. Then off to the d'Orsay for art and the ex-train station building. Too much art for me so I picked off the sculpture in the foyer first.

Then the Van Gogh exhibition - here is my favorite. Not one the famous.

After a wander over the Seine and past the Louvre I headed home on the metro rather challenged - by now I was quite sore and tired and that's when you notice all the stairs and long walkways getting between lines. I did get lucky with the worst of the stairs by finding this.
